I have been making music and recording since 1996 on beginning with my cassette 4 track, which then evolved to an internship at Avalon Sound Studios in Bethesda, MD. I moved to Chicago & another internship at Thrill Jockey Records. For several years I pursued paleoclimate endeavors but have since found my way back to DC, local music, and recording. Plainview Studio began in my folk’s basement on Plainview Rd. The studio moved first to the front room of legendary Inner Ear studio in Arlington, VA for a year and then in 2020 to its present location in Carderock Springs. I have worked at several local venues providing live sound support including: the Pinch, Milkboy Arthouse, Atlas Brewery, Smith Public Trust and the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at University of Maryland. I perform music as Resuming Inertia - usually at local open mics. Previous music groups include the Freakout Squares Fort Rile Dog and Dabor Spasbeken.
